Meet Victor at Gare du Nord for a small-group walk from the Oise River to Auvers-sur-Oise. Follow Van Gogh’s final route through fields, villages, the church he painted, his lodging, and his grave. Expect six to eight miles, a brisk pace, snacks, and a packed lunch stop.
“This trip combines a beautiful country hike with information about the artists who lived in this area, especially Vincent Van Gogh. Victor clearly loves the Impressionists, especially Van Gogh. While I certainly could have looked up this route online and done this walk, Victor added so much context to the route, houses and villages, while keeping up a running history of Impressionism and Van Gogh’s life. I really enjoyed it! The walk is mostly flat with an uphill section.”
